13.04.2011 Representatives of 17 leading Austrian producers of equipment and products for the food industry, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, energy, working in the sphere of health, transport and other areas, will communicate with the Stavropol business and officials. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory Igor Zhuravlev, Minister of natural resources and environmental protection of Stavropol Territory Anatoly Baturin, representatives of the Ministry of health, Ministry of industry of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of economic development of Stavropol Territory and Stavropol Administration will take part in this event. Austrian delegation headed by the Director of the Department for Cooperation with the CIS of the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria Heinz Walter. The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Stavropol Territory Andrey Murga: “Today the negotiations will be in a democratic form – the free exchange of opinions and suggestions. “It’s amazing that we came to Stavropol for the first time, it is one of the most dynamic developing regions of Russia”, - the director of the Department for Cooperation with the CIS of the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria Heinz Walter said. On his opinion the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Stavropol Territory is a unique platform for establishing cooperation between the Austrian and Stavropol business. Tourism is the business card of Austria. The Stavropol region want to develop this sector of economy. There are a lot of projects for implementing”. According to representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Leonid Filimonov: “The first visit of the Austrian delegation to the Stavropol Territory was been organized in 2009.
